Norfolk Cooperative Preschool
One Union Street, Norfolk, MA

Our Foundation
NCP was established in 1972 as a non-profit preschool, located at the Federated Church in leased space, but not religiously affiliated with the Church.
NCP is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of the Director, parents, and teachers. Parents are encouraged to serve on the Board.
The staff consist of a Director and teachers, as well as teacher assistants, all of whom are OCCS qualified. They all continuously update their training by attending workshops, conferences and college level courses.
Parental Involvement
The Cooperative concept is based on parents taking an active role in their child's social and educational development. The program offers participatory and non-participatory options for parents. The Participatory Plan offers a lower tuition rate and requires parents to assist in the classroom on a monthly basis. Parents provide the snack and juice. We accommodate allergies.
