• 11/27 10:19pm   TN: This is in reply to your 11/18 @12:06 note to me. Since you've been so put off by your ordeal, I won't be expecting a response from you. First of all, be assured that your remarks don't upset me, at all. As I understand it, Norfolknet is a public forum. As such, everyone is welcomed to participate in any ongoing discussion, or to begin one of their own if they desire, as long as the Posting Guidelines are observed. I welcome anyone to join in a public correspondence in which I'm involved on Norfolknet. However, I found it remarkable that on 11/16, you jumped into the middle of a discussion between NT and me [...] You didn't express one [word] about the single question that was the crux of the whole matter; instead you preferred to approach the subject by throwing [...] accusations at me.
Despite your attempt to insult or disarm me with your [...] name-calling, feeling that the point had escaped you, I cordially responded to you on 11/17 by simply filling you in on specifically why my only question to NT (which she declined to answer) might be of importance to many members of Norfolk community. Then, in response to your [complaints] and referring to me as negative, nasty, and condescending, I offered you further explanation of my contention and asked you to justify your allegations. Instead of being [...] informative, your reply on 11/18 was to complain that I had chastised you, and then to go on to accuse me of "sounding rather unfounded and unkind" and "questioning NT's motives . . . and then later criticizing her choices as an active individual." What "motives"? What "choices as an active individual"? What did I say that was unfounded? What [...] are you talking about, TN? [...]
Your use of the word "unfounded" to find fault with anything that I've written is almost ironic, because my entire running correspondence with you and NT has been predicated on a reasonable expectation of accountability when either of you claim to be stating established facts. It seems to me that you both subscribe to the "Hissy Fit method of debate" in order to dodge a question and to express yourselves. On the other hand, TN, I can authenticate any item of information that I submit to Norfolknet and invite you, or anyone else in doubt, to try me. The prime prerequisite is that the challenger addresses the contents of the message first, and then, if the message proves not to be true, criticize the messenger.
