Norfolk Church to Hold its Annual Harvest Festival
This year the Federated Church of Norfolk's Annual Harvest Festival Events will take place on September 11 and September 25.
The Federated Church of Norfolk will be holding its Annual Flea Market on Saturday September 11 from 9:00 am - 3:00 PM. at the church on the corner of Route 115 and Main Street in the center of Norfolk. In addition to all the neat things you can buy, there will also be a Bake Sale
The Federated Church of Norfolk will hold their annual Harvest Festival on Saturday September 25, 2004 at Holmes Field on Myrtle Street. The fair will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A children's "on-wheels" parade will kick off the festivities. Children with their decorated bikes, wagons, scooters, carriages or ride-on toys will meet at the field. 9:00 am. Every child participating in the parade will get a free balloon. Entertainment will include: Roger Williams Zoo Mobile, Kathy Ryan Dance Studio, a natural horse training demonstration and much more. For the first time we will be having a giant carousel! There will be plenty of rides and games for children, pony rides, arts and crafts tables, baked goods, home made apple pies, fresh produce, and a basket silent auction. There will also be a 5k walk/run starting at 9:00 a.m.
The church will be holding its second annual frog jumping contest at the Festival September 25th. This contest is open to any 3rd , 4th , or 5th grader. Those planning to enter the contest must call the church A.S.A.P. to make their reservation or for more information. The contest will take place at Holmes Field at 9:30 a.m.
