Garden Club of Norfolk
Are you new to the area?
Did you realize that Norfolk has a Garden Club?
Would you be interested in joining a group of local gardening enthusiasts dedicated to the advancement of home gardening as well as civic beautification?
The Garden Club of Norfolk, incorporated as a non-profit organization for the purpose of instructing the public on horticultural subjects and stimulating public interest in the beautification of the town, was chartered by the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts in 1988.
The Club meets monthly (September through June) for programs that vary from hands-on work shops and how-to demonstrations and prominent lecturers, to planning various civic beautification projects. Annual fundraisers include a spring plant sale and various Christmas events, including house tours and wreath and decoration sales.
Membership in the club is open to the public and consists primarily of amateur gardeners and others not professionally or commercially connected with horticulture.
