King Philip Walpole Youth Hockey Registration

King Philip-Walpole Youth Hockey Registration Dates and Times Announced for 2003-04 Season

King Philip-Walpole Youth Hockey will be conducting 3 registrations for the 2003-2004 hockey season during the month of February. Registration is on a walk-in basis. The dates are as follows:

Saturday, February 1, 2003 – Norfolk Arena, Medway Street, Norfolk, 9AM – 12 Noon

Saturday, February 8, 2003 – Iorio Twin Rinks, Route 1, Walpole, 9AM – 12 Noon

Wednesday, February 12, 2003 – Norfolk Town Hall, Rm 124, Main Street, 6 – 9 PM

The Program’s policy is that priority is always given to skaters currently in our program, as long as their registration is received by March 1, 2003. After this date, registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. All new participants to the program are automatically added to a waiting list. Current skaters will receive detailed registration and tryout policies packages by individual Team Parents by January 27th, 2003.

At the registration locations, pre-filled registration forms will be available for all current skaters. Parents are requested to review the current registration information such as name, address, DOB, phone numbers, etc… The process will include parents verifying that the information is up to date, signing the necessary waiver of injury and tuition policy forms. Any new participants in the KPWYHA program can fill out “New Participant” forms. All coaches will follow a similar registration process and should also provide a copy of their USA Hockey Coaches Patch Card with their registration.

A $200 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit check made out to “KPWYHA” is due at the time of registration. Final payments are due by June 21, 2003. Families not making payments in full by this date, risk their skaters losing a team placement. No money will be refunded after July 1, 2003.

The Program also follows a residency policy for registration. Unless currently enrolled in the program, non-residents of the KPWYHA towns (Walpole, Norfolk, Wrentham, and Plainville) will not be accepted into the program.

If you have any questions regarding registration, you can contact our registrar, Bill Donovan, at 508-520-4057 or via email at bill21173@yahoo.com
