Norm Kenneally Photography
On Display Now at the Norfolk Public Library
The Norfolk Cultural Council is pleased to present a new display of artwork at the Norfolk Public Library, in Norfolk center. On a rotating basis, artists with ties to our community will display their artwork in the grand meeting room. The room will be open to the public during normal library hours. Those interested in purchasing any of the artwork are invited to do so by contacting the artist directly. Starting this week, Cape Cod photographer, Norm Kenneally, whose daughter, Erin Hughes and her family are long-time residents of Norfolk, will display his stunning photography in the gallery.
Norm Kenneally was born and educated on the on the south shore of Massachusetts (when the King Philip on Lake Pearl in Wrentham was in its heyday); and following six years of U.S. Navy service he worked thirty years in the corporate world of New York City. During five years of retirement in Carefree, Arizona Norm turned his forty-year, photography avocation into a productive activity when he began exhibiting in Carefree, Scottsdale and Palm Springs art shows.
In the mid-90s, Norm and his wife, Dana, relocated to Cape Cod where his marine and southwest images have again proven quite popular. He is a member of the Cape Cod Viewfinders Club, The Artisans' Guild of Cape Cod, and the Creative Arts Center. To find out more about Norm Kenneally's work, please visit the Norfolk Public Library, beginning this week and running through the end of February. You are also invited to visit his website, www.normsgallery.com.
The Norfolk Cultural Council is a group of people in your community who are committed to bringing art, music, literature and more into the lives of our residents. This past year alone, the Council has funded nearly $8,000 to further that mission in the Norfolk community.
