NCL Triple Fundraiser
The NCL is made up of about 130 families in a town of roughly 2500 households. In the past two years, this small yet extremely active group has donated nearly $60,000 to the Norfolk Community, including $11,000 to the Norfolk Fire Department to purchase Thermal Imaging Equipment, over $20,000 to the elementary schools, $3,500 to the King Phillip H.S. Band, $1,500 to the Norfolk Food Pantry, $2,700 to the Council on Aging and $3,000 to the Boardman Street playground.
Our first big fundraiser for fiscal year 2001-2002 will be held on June 9, 2001 and is a triple-header including: the 5th Annual 5K Charity Run/Walk, Road Safety Day (with many activities including a professional bicycle stunt team), and a raffle of a TREK bicycle and a scooter.
