NCL Santa Breakfast;   Jingle Bell Fun Run

Kick off the holiday season at the annual Norfolk Community League Santa Breakfast! Join NCL on Saturday, December 14th from 9-11 AM at the H. Olive Day School on Main St. for breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Have your picture taken with Santa for $2 or free with a donation of basic health items to New Hope Women's and Children's Shelter (bath towels, diapers and wipes, trash bags, laundry detergent, sheets and blankets and non-perishable foods). There will also be a craft activity with proceeds to fund Norfolk Paramedic Equipment. Tickets are $4 for NCL members and $6 for non-members. Kids under 2 are free. Following Breakfast with Santa is a 5K Jingle Bell Run and 1/4 Kids Run. The 3.1 mile Fun Run will begin at 11AM and the kids race begins at 11:45. Registration is $15 for adults and $5 for kids. Registration forms are at Norfolk Library and Linda's Variety on Main St. Race day registration and number pick-up runs from 9:30 - 10:45AM. This event benefits Norfolk Together, a non-profit organization offering emergency financial assistance to Norfolk residents. All entrants receive bells for their shoes and are encouraged to wear festive warm clothing. The first 100 entrants receive free running gloves.
