Invitations Available for Norfolk Community League's Spring Charity Gala Dinner Dance and Auction
The Norfolk Community League will hold a Spring Charity Gala on Saturday, March 27, 2004 from 6:30pm -midnight at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. It will feature dinner, dancing and many exciting silent and live auction items. For children we have a 12 week tuition to the Franklin School of Performing Arts, a pony party, the new children's book by Norfolk resident Robyn Rogers entitled "Use Your Words!" and Fire Truck and Police Car Rides. For the statesmen, Representative Scott Brown has donated a lunch and tour of the State House. For the ladies, a silver and diamond necklace, handcrafted silver and quartz crystal jewelry and an hour or two of beauty treatments from a spa. For sports fans, a photo of the "snow bowl" at Foxboro Stadium, a baseball signed by Curt Shilling and tickets to a Celtics or Bruins game. Other items include a lawn tractor, a family sized hammock, a family membership to the Park Terrace Pool Club and a week in St. Martin. In addition, NCL is still looking for donations of items for the auction. The NCL Charitable Fund is a non-profit organization recognized by the IRS, therefore, donations are tax-deductible under Internal Revenue Code Section 501©(3). Money raised by NCL is distributed to local organizations to enhance and improve the quality of life in Norfolk.
