It is important to note that the Norfolk Community League will also be holding their popular Road Race that morning as well. More details about this race will be provided in subsequent articles.
The Norfolk Lions have organized and run Community Day for 12 years. The Day has grown from a modest beginning to an event that Norfolk and surrounding towns look forward to attending. We strive to provide a wholesome day of family fun at a reasonable cost.
This event is the premier Norfolk Lions community service project. It is our way of giving back to the community that has been so generous in supporting our fund raising activities for those less fortunate than ourselves. The Norfolk Lions have served Norfolk since October 1958 and if you are interested in learning more about Lions, contact John Wason @508- 528-8526 or JWason@comcast.net For more information about joining the Community Day Sponsors or being one of the events, contact Barbara Snead at 508-520-9937, 508-528-9993(fax) or bsnead@comcast.net.
