Screening Committee Members Wanted for Superintendent Search

The Norfolk School Committee is establishing a Screening Committee to help select a new superintendent for the Norfolk K-6 school district. The screening committee will work with Dr. James Walsh, executive search consultant with New England School Development Council ( NESDEC ), to review applications and interview candidates. The screening committee will then select approximately 2 or 3 candidates as finalists for the School Committee to interview. The Committee will be meeting on January 28th in the evening and approximately 2 or 3 nights the first two weeks of February.

The Screening Committee will be comprised of approximately 13 people, and will include participants from the following areas; the school committee, teachers, school administrators, town administrators, senior citizens, parents of HOD and FC children and one additional community member.

If you are a parent with children in the HOD or FC schools or are a community member-at-large, and you wish to volunteer for the Screening Committee please call (508)528-1225 ext. 1911. In case of multiple volunteers a lottery will be held on January 23th to select the representatives.

Thank You
The Norfolk School Committee
