Registration for State Primary Election
Tuesday, September 14, 2004Wednesday, August 25, 2004, is the last day to register to vote at the above noted Special Town Election and State Primary Election. Anyone who has not previously registered, is a new resident, or will become 18 on or before August 25th may register by mail or in the office of the Town Clerk. Regular office hours are Monday through Wednesday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM, Thursday, 9:00AM to 7:00PM and Friday, 9:00AM to 1:00PM. On Wednesday, August 25th, the office will remain open from 9:00AM until 8:00PM. Mail in registration forms must be postmarked by August 25th or earlier in order to qualify.
The polls will be open on Tuesday, September 14, 2004, from 7:00AM until 8:00PM. All precincts vote in the H. Olive Day School Auditorium (rear of building), 232 Main Street, Norfolk, MA.
Absentee ballots for the September 14th special election and state primary election will be available for voters unable to come to the polls on that day. Absentee voting may be done either in person at the Town Clerk's Office or by mail. To receive a ballot by mail or for further information about absentee voting, contact the Town Clerk's Office at 508-528-1400.
