Walpole Children's Theatre Brings Classic to Life
There's something for everyone in Walpole Children's Theatre's first production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Based on the Charles Dickens classic, A CHRISTMAS CAROL tells the tale of the grumpy old miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present and Future hoping to change his destiny and save his soul. This adaptation by Brian Way, follows Scrooge through a series of strange and magical journeys, where he ultimately discovers the true spirit of the holiday season.
Directed by Walpole's own Paul MacPhee along with a wonderful cast of local youths, many of whom are playing multiple roles in this production, A CHRISTMAS CAROL has had a journey of its own behind the scenes. Cast and Crew are excited about the opportunity to perform this one of a kind production in the brand new auditorium facility at Walpole High School for the community that so generously continues to support WCT and the Arts.
