TOPS The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer) TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, developed by US Youth Soccer and offered by KPSA. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 4-19, who has an intellectual or physical disability. We launched our first program in the Spring of 2011 with sessions on Sundays from April 10 to May 22. Since then we've grown our program season over season. Lisa Kellett, MYSA Volunteer of the Year Lisa Kellett, past president of the King Philip Soccer Association, was named the 2012 Volunteer of the Year by the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association. Mrs. Kellett, who resides in Norfolk and was a long-time youth coach, player, and board member of KPSA, was recognized for her efforts to launch The Outreach Program for Soccer (TOPSoccer). Recognizing the need, Mrs. Kellett led the effort to bring TOPSoccer to Norfolk, Plainville, and Wrentham, and secured the help of both youth and adult volunteers. Today KPSA's TOPSoccer has more than 40 players and more than 50 volunteers who work with the players on Sunday mornings. Click here to watch a 60 second video recognizing Lisa. The registration fee is $60.00 per player with a family maximum of $60. The registration fee includes a uniform shirt and a soccer ball.
